Documents read statistics

Hello!

What is the best way to calculate how many times each documents in some folder has been opened? Using the eventing mechanism of KM doesn't work quite well, because each HTTP 206 response for a single request triggers a KM GET event, effectively spoiling the statistics. Is the analysis of the responses.trc log the only way to do the statistics?
