IDOC_ERROR_PARSE_FAILURE

Hi all,

We have an interface (file to IDOC) which is throwing a mapping error as shown in attached pics.

We have mapped the external schema(file format) to an existing IDOC in SAP.

The BEGIN tag exists in the file yet the mapping error is for that tag as shown in attached pic.

I tried mapping BEGIN to constant 1 but when I checked the mapping in ESR I see a crossed line on the "green" node for the BEGIN tag as shown in below pic.

Any idea what to do to make this mapping work?

What does the line on the BEGIN node mean?

Please advise.
