Manually change a dispute case amount and closing dispute cases

Hi,

I'm not sure if we are using dispute cases as intended but the business requirements is to raise a dispute case when a customer calls disputing an item; once we have come to a conclusion on the dispute ie it's correct and stands or customer correct and an adjustment made we want to be able to close the case before payment is made. From what I can see this is only possible if the disputed value is zero but I cannot see hoe to set the disputed value to zero as the field is greyed out even though I have it set to changeable in config.

Any thoughts?

System

SAP_APPL 617 0011 SAPKH61711
SAP_FIN 617 0011 SAPK-61711INSAPFIN

EA-APPL 617 0011

EA-FIN 617 0011

FINBASIS 600 0027

Thanks,

Steve

    Hi Steve,

    You can void the dispute case so it gets closed out and the open item still remains.

    Hi Steve,

    Standard functionality, when you using FBL5N to create a dispute case based on an un-cleared open item, the dispute case can be closed automatically when the open item been cleared (incoming payment);

    Also there is an functionally regarding automatically write off.

    basically the dispute value is grey out is correct.

    Best regards,
