My scenario like this, My transaction data is comming from sales and my budget data is available in flatfile, these two data i want to uplaod into only one cube. plz correct me.
0VTYPE, and 0VERSION will distingish between the plan and actuals into the same cube while loading and designing queries.
For Example : In your query if you want to display the data for actuals you need to restrict your chars with value type 10, and for plan value type 20. create a seperate column in your report for plan and actuals with above restriction you will be able to see the plan and actuals.
Yess, We can load plan and actual data in one cube and even SEM also we can change the plan cube(transactional cube) to non-transactional cube and load the Actual values into the cube. Hope it helps.
