How save a Excel Sheet automatically ?

Hello!

I've got two questions about reporting.

I created a report with BEX, and so a Workbook and a quiery, with changing color, format...

Data's quiery come from a Cube which is dayly modified.

My first goal :

That my workbook (with my quiery) dayly saves automatically in the same Excel Sheet, with new Data from the Cube.

My second goal :

To send a mail with this Excel Sheet dayly too (I don't know if it's possible with SAP-BW).

I think I have to use an reporting agent, but I don't know how to do!?

Thank you for your help.

Vince.

    Hi Vince,

    Gopi once again.

You can save the query in a BW Workbook. In the BW Workbook you can call the mail component in the event SAPBEXonREfresh which will save the refreshed BW Workbook(each time it creates an Excel Workbook like xlss....) in a new Excel Workbook and send the Excel workbook as an attachment.

I tried reporting agent but the option for saving as an excel workbook is not available.

Apart from this there is some feature called information broadcasting if you are using BW 3.5 and above.

Some interesting discussion in the below link
