Hi

I have one SAP System mySAP ERP on Solaris9 64bit Kernal non-unicode installation. Can I export the client from solaris system and build a new client on mySAP ERP on WIN2k 32bit Kernal and non-uniocode installation?

If yes what should I consider as pre-requisits.

What do you mean by client?

Clients of SAP systems are absolutely independent of the system and are available on many platforms.

    Hi Anand,

I'm assuming you are talking about an ABAP client copy.

As long as both systems as at the same release level (and preferably the same SP level) you can do this.

You have to do the client copy from the target client in the new system. There is good information in the online help (help.sap.com) and some good SAP notes with copy tips (service.sap.com/notes).

    I hope this helps,

    Mike.
