Overall result calculation

Hi Gurus,

I have a requirement where I need to calculate the percentage share between 2 overall result columns as follows:

Period Vol Waste Waste%Vol

1 100 10 10%

2 150 15 10%

3 30 3 10%

4 90 20 22.22%

5 80 10 12.50%

6 100 20 20%

Overall Result 550 78 14.18%

The overall result for Vol and Waste are straightforward (summation), but the overall result required for Waste%Vol is calculated from the overall result of Waste as a percentage share of Overall result of Vol. How can I achieve this? Will reward maximum points.

Goto the PROPERTIES of Waste%Vol formula, in the bottom most option 'Formula Collision' select "Result from this Formula".

This should solve your problem.
