Uploading InfoProvider Documents

Hello,

we are migrating data from a sql-server to SAP BW. In sql-server long texts/descriptions were entered by the user, which were stored in fields within tables.

Within SAP BW I cannot use Characteristics to keep documentation, and would like to, therefore, use the document management for InfoProviders.

However, I do not see a possibility to upload large numbers of texts. I have an Excel document with the project, fiscal period, and text, and would like to import these texts by dynamically reading the project and fiscal period to assign these to the properties of the document, and then read the text as the document.

Does anybody know of a way to mass-upload documents?
