In my scenario I try to split one messag into 2 messages.

What type of Interface Determination have to be?

Have I to assign anywhere 1:n transformation mapping in configurator?

Hi,

Can you give us more details on your scneario.

Meanwhile, can you check the following,

1. In your Message Mapping, have you changed the occurence of the target Message to 0 to Unbounded.

2. in your Interface Mapping , have you changed the occurence of the target Interface to 0 to Unbounded.

Am not sure ,if it is Enhanced or Extended ,but in your Interface Determination, ,select ENHANCED / EXTENDED and now , if you have done the above mentioned steps and activated the same, you will get your Multi Mapping available.

Hi,

I juct checked. The option will be either RB_SPLIT or EXTENDED in your Interface Determination.

Enhanced in Receiver Determination is a different concept altogether . Check this blog for Enhanced Receiver Determination,

For multimapping Select the option EXTENDED in your INTERFACE DETERMINATION.

Hi Nataliya,

>>In my scenario I try to split one messag into 2 messages. What type of Interface Determination have to be?

This depends on which service pack you are using. If you are using anything above SP14, you need not use the BPM.

Else, you will have to use the BPM.

>>may be you mean option enhanced?

Well, this option is generally taken when you have n:m mapping and you would want to avoid choosing the interfaces manually. But since, you are splitting one message in two, you need not choose enhanced.

If you are using >=SP14, then in the interface determination, choose RB_SPLIT radio button.

Btw, i just checked, it could also be "Extended" (not enhanced) instead of "RB_SPLIT".

Hi Nataliya,

Check out this blog by Jin Shin, she explains in detail how to achieve multi mapping (1:n) without the use of BPM:-

Hi Nataliya,

Do you hv two different target message types which u r using in the mapping program or simply changing the occurrences of the target structure?

In both the cases, you hv to use enhanced interface determination by selecting the ENHANCED tab in Interface Determination step.

Hi,

Take a look at this blog,

/people/jin.shin/blog/2006/02/07/multi-mapping-without-bpm--yes-it146s-possible

In the interface determination, select the option RB_SPLIT or EXTENDED and you can select the 1:N mapping program in your interafce mapping
