BEx Query export (numeric output MS Excel)

Hi all,

When I'm running a query in Excel the output of a date will be numeric.

After saving the query to .xls the date (i.e. 07.2006) will be formatted to a textformat. Is it possible to keep the numeric value?

My last question, is this the only way or is it possible to set some settings in SAP?

Select the whole column.

You can change format of the column using Menu Navigation Format>Cells>Number.

If you change it to Number then then month will become 7.2006 ie leading zeros will go away.
