Hi Experts,

I have used this program to try to activate an update rule that did not get activated.

Due to QAS BW system setting, I cannot access the rule's routines to find out what is the error message.

Please could you advise how I can view the code using se38? and do a compile check in QAS BW? I cannot view the routine in QAS.

Thanks,

Pascal

hi Pascal,

normally we will try right click the update rules, a small screen will prompt something 'Changes to Repository objects are not permitted in this client' an attempt to click 'display' may not proceed to next screen,

to handle this, let the small screen there, and try to open another session and right click the update rules again for change, this time system will prompt object lock by user ... press Enter and it will bring to update rules screen where you will be able to click check (ctrl + f2).

hope this helps.
