Need to transport comment fields in 0040 infotype

Hi All,

I extended the Basic Type HRMD_A06 and got success in sending all custom infotypes data as well as some custom fields data.

But i am unable to find out a way to send the comments fields in 0040 infotype.

Can anyone thruogh some light on this.

Hi Rama,

comment fields of infotypes are not stored in PAnnnn-Tables. Data is being stored in Cluster PCL1(TX).

SAP-standard does not transport this data via ALE.

If you need that, you have to do some coding in customer extension RHALE001 (EXIT_SAPLRHA0_001 and EXIT_SAPLRHA0_005).

Hi Jyothi,

My problem is regarding extension of HRMD_A and sending custom Infotype 21 fields from HR to other HR system.

I suppose you have done this before. Can you help by enumerating the steps for it ?

Specifically, what setting do i need to do for sending custom fields, which user exits do i need to change.

Also when i send the data through PFAL or RHALEINI the message type by deafult is HRMD_ABA, how do I change that to HRMD_A?
