Document posted in CJ88 took old translation date(previous year), tough current year posting and document date given.

Randomly for some of the documents posting using CJ88 took the old translation date

Attached are the affected documrnts.

Issue with CJ88 postings in SAP. Randomly we get complaints from Project Consulting team that there revenue amount is not correct in BO because its using the incorrect exchange rate.

PSA – CJ88 postings do not have a translation date so there is code somewhere in SAP that changes the translation date to the last day of the month that the posting was made. (if a posting was made on 15 January 2017, translation date should be 31^st January 2017)

Somehow for some transactions it picks a random date (eg below from 2013 so the exchange rate picked up in BO was incorrect).

IF there is a translation date BO uses that date to get the Exchange rate from GBP to USD like below.
