SAP : LIPS table AKMNG field

Hi Everyone,

Its urgent I researched a lot about AKMNG field in LIPS but unfortunately no help over the forum.

In STO Delivery the delivery quantity( same as that of PO OuN) = 251.903 MSF.

1MSF= 18.658LB

LB is base unit of measure.

Therefore, 251.903 MSF= 4700.006 LB when AKMNG=A and while doing goods receipt i can receive the whole quantity by entering the quantity in msf in MIGO.

The change log of delivery says LT12 tcode AKMNG changed from A to B.

and delivery quantity= 251.903 and in Alternate unit of measure in item level picking tab

delivery qty becomes 4700 LB and now i cannot receive the whole quantity 4700 as in MIGO the quantity it takes is only till third decimal places

So we received 251.902 msf so some stock still remains in stock in transit as its equivalent to only 4699.988 LB

Could you please help with why and in what condition system is changing AKMNG from A to B.

Thanks & Regards,

Ashutosh

AKMNG filed is more towards internal to system and internally gets updated since you mentioned that LT12 (This is WM transaction to confirm the transfer order) change this quantity to Base unit of measure, Can you please check your WM unit of measure related setting.

Also my suggestion is that you can have a look on LIPS before/ after delivery creation and After TO creation whether is there any change to this field
