Hi Experts

My scenario is file-xi-idoc. I am getting a fixed length content conversion file and I should map that to an IDoc. I have imported both the structures in message mapping editor. How should I do a message mapping for this. Some fields in Idoc like segment is marked in red. What should I map to them? Are there any weblogs for this?

Hi,

Whatever marked in the Red are mandatory fields. So you need to map with constants. for that. For e.g Attribute BEGIN , map with constant 1.

Do we need a Communication channel for receiver IDOC and also do we need to have a receiver agreement for the reciever IDOC?
