WAS 6.40 Installation Error

Hello All,

I got a installation DVD with a book that I purchased. I got a problem when installing WAS 6.40.

I was installing with the role that has Administrator rights. This is the error that I am getting.

======================================================

SAPinst needs to log you off in order to reliably continue the installation.

If this message reapprears after the new logon, your domian is probably setting group policies. In this case, make sure the account which runs the installation has the following User rights before continuing:

<i>Act as part of the operating system, Increase quotas and Replace a process level token.

</i>

======================================================

I have no clue that message means to me. I would appreciate if any one can help me to get thru this.

Thanks.

    Just allow the installation to log you out. When you log back in, it should continue where it left off.

    • If you continue to have this message, you must give the authorities to the current use. Right-click on "My Computer" choose Manage. Here you will be able to give the authorities.
