Red and Green requests in delta load

Former Member

Hi,

I'm using 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 with delta loading.

this weekend we had a crush on our R/3 systems, and the result was:

day 25 -> red flag request

day 27 -> green flag request

day 28 -> green flag request

since the 25th request is red, every subsecuent request is non-active.

is there a way I can avoid re-init?????

thanks for the help.

Mauricio

Hi, all

thanks for the help.

this is waht I finally did:

1.- I turned the red flagged request to green.

2.- I activated all three non-active requests.

this automatically started the updating process to the infocube.

Once again, thanks for the help.

Mauricio.

Raja,

thanks for the tip.

I have a question: how can I turn green flag at technical level?. I can only change at total level.

Other thing that may help to understand my situation.

I enter the Manage screen on my 0SAL_DS01 ODS object.

When I clic the monitor button, in the red flag request, I can see to yellow flags (total and technical), but there is an error message: "Activation of data records from ODS object 0SAL_DS01 terminated" and "Request REQU_42845QJAGLI7SMQBN9KF7N6DT in ODS 0SAL_DS01 must have QM status green before it".

When I go to monitor for the green flag requests, I can see total and technical green flags, and the message "The data was loaded successfully into the ODS Object 0SAL_DS01 but not activated. You can only report on the data by using 'most recent'."

If you can go step by step wy me, I would be very grateful.

regards,

Mauricio

Hi,

1.If you turn total status to red then tech status will become red.

2. go to the respective datatarget

day 25 -> red flag request

day 27 -> green flag request

day 28 -> green flag request

first make 25th red request to red by clicking on total status red(you can see 4 options for status select red).

then 27th and 28th also make delta request from green to red by clicking on total button in the monitor. after that delete all three request and repeat the delta...

If you start delta then you can see the message for repeat delta...say yes...hope its clear..

thanks,

Hi Mauricio,

Before making request into RED and deleting try this.

If you are making all 3 Delta requests to RED and deleted, i think you only get repeate delta for last failed request only. I dont think you will get delta for last 3 request.

As you are saying data loaded successfully(Day 25) request and only problem with activation. Check from the Monitor(Details tab) where the exact problem is.

If you are loading Via PSA, then you can push request from PSA to target. OR If data loaded successfully and activation only fails, them make request status(both Quality and total) to Green and try to activate.

Hope it Helps

Dear Mariucio,

It is unusual that after a red load you got two green loads on to system. There is all probability that the green requests might not have fetched correct data.

You can turn the green requests into red at technical level and ensure the red request is also selected red at technical level of the monitoring and delete all of the same. The above process is called house keeping of requests.

After house keeping is done on the Delta info package level request for an immediate load and system will prompt you that last delta was incorrect and will ask you if you want a repeat . Request for this repeat delta and you will get all the delta records from the crash time.

Hope you will find useful and award points, incase it does.
