Reporting period interval for activity report

Hi,

I am trying to define a "Number of users who logged on" activity report with the following reporting period definitions:

Interval: Monthly

Most recent activity: 52 weeks

I.e. I would like to have a report which contains data of logged users on monthly level for the last year.

But it seems that this is not possible! I get the following the error message "In an weekly report, the reporting time unit must be hourly, daily or weekly". So, it is not possible to define in "Show activity for" field the value in months or years.

Any ideas how to solve the problem?! The data collection in our environment was started just few weeks ago, but that should not affect, shouldn't it?!

The version is EP 6.0 SP16.

I realize this is a very old thread, but did you ever resolve this problem? We're having the exact same issue in EP7 SP14... We want a report with the Interval of Monthly, and want to show just the Most Recent Activity for the past year. However, the only options in Most Recent Activity are Hours, Days, and Weeks, and it then won't let us save an Interval of Monthly.

Anyone?

Your best bet would be to do this in Visual Composer. The Activity Report iView has limitations that won't give you the flexibility that you are asking for. VC will let you define the report you want.
