WS Java SDK turn off tracelog

I am migrating a java client application to use BI web service SDK. Currently it is using BI web service SDK 3.1. I have upgraded the JAR files and got almost all the functionality working. I noticed that whenever I run a report it creates log files on my machine that has names similar to "TraceLog_11184_2017_03_03_12_43_40_876_trace.glf". One JAR that comes with new SDK is tracelog and my guess is that this JAR is generating these files. Since this JAR is a required JAR, I cannot remove it from the app. I wonder if there is a way to turn it off or control the location where it should generate these JAR files. I did a search and found following resources. I have gone thru all of these and none of my these are working for me. Please advise.

This migration effort is from BO3.1 to BO4.1.

Server side components are already migrated. And now I am upgrading JARs on a java client.

This client application runs in a separate TomCat container and I have noticed this behavior while running my JUnits.
