Recover lost Form Settings

Hello experts,

One of our employees lost all his form settings overnight. He now has his settings reset to default...

I don't think it's linked with an update although we upgraded to 9.2 a month ago, he is the only user affected. He also confirmed he closes SAP with File > Exit.

We had spent a lot of time choosing and sorting his settings. Anyway we could recover them?

If he shares, or should share, his settings with another user you can copy that user's setting to the user with the default settings. This is done in the Users dialog (Admin>Setup>General>Users) by going to the user with good settings, selecting the Copy Form Settings and choosing the use with the default settings to copy it to. The target user must be logged out.

Any idea why sometimes users suddenly suffer lost of Form Settings? Any way for prevention?
