DI Server error: 100000007 License is fully used

I have a question about the DI Server License.

My customer has purchased two Di Server License (one for cpu core).

I have two web application, one installed on SAP Server and one on a Web Server.

Everything was working fine until one week ago, when the application installed on the Web Server started to give this message

"100000007 License is fully used"

Both SAP Server and Web Server has 2 Cpu Dual Core, but I thought that it was not mandatory to purchase one license/Cpu.

How can I check how many cores Di Server is using?

(Or how does SAP consider one core as "Busy"?)

I've already open a ticket to SAP Support but the answer was "ask to SCN".

Can expert please help to answer this question?

Hi Luca

DI Server implements Core based license model. Which means number of licenses are determined by number of cores available in the windows OS in which DI Server is installed. In case you have less license than number of cores then the non licensed cores will be blocked.

Refer below notes for further information. (note s-user required)

The problem you are facing might be due to non allocation of license after DI server crash. Generally the DI server should automatically De-alocate the License. It would be a good idea to try restarting the DI server and check if the problem is resolved
