Eligibility to appear for SAP Certification exam

Hi,

I'm aware that in some countries like India, It is mandated to attend SAP official(endorsed ) training courses or should have work experience in respective area to get an eligibility to appear for certification exam. However in some countries like USA, It is just recommended and not mandated!

Just I'm curious to know what is the requirement in your country to attend for certification exam.

Thank you.

Hi Ajay

Only in America its possible to appear for certification exam without academy training or showing experience proof. Reason really not aware, but might be SAP had levied its different procedures in US depends considering the number of consultants going for certification (as you know its mandatory for most of the US jobs).

Rest all the countries in the world, are required to show them in order to accomplish certification. SAP clearly specifies as follows:

Participation

There are no restrictions on certification program participation. However, SAP assumes the certification candidates have prepared for the examination by attending the training courses recommended by SAP and SAP's partners in the respective operating system, database, and network areas.

mySAPConsultant Certification is available for most SAP solutions. Candidates should either complete the appropriate SAP Solution Academy and case study, or take the equivalent standard curriculum classes at an SAP Education Center. Candidates may take the exam without attending related classes if they have substantial experience implementing the appropriate SAP solution.

So finally I say, if you are in US, you are a bit lucky on eligibility part.

For more information on the subject please contact your nearest SAP-Education Academy.

Hope this clarifies.

Cheers
