Production order for customer order separated from production order for product line

Hi,

Do you know possibility for usage of MTO strategy with customer stock and MTS strategy on one part number at the same time?

We would like to have MTO strategy for sales orders (customer orders) and in that case generated customer stock and plan order for specifick customer order, but also at the same time to have plans (dependend requirements) for our own production and to have MTO without customer stock or MTS strategy on dependend requirements or order reservations from above BOM level.

Thanks a lot for answer. Problem is that I would like to use both strategies on one/ same part number. If we use strategy MTO with customer stock, for every dependent requirement from above BOM level there will be generated separate Plan order, same as for customer order/ sales order.

Is there possibility to separate sales orders from dependen requirements and order reservations?

I am talkig about some component for example that is produced for higher BOM level within same factory and also produced for sales.

If you are already using some Strategy, kindly share the results/issue with the current Strategy, that you are using

Yes, we are using strategy 52,

both order reservations and customer orders usses same stock.

What we need is that in case sales order comes in strategy 50 is activated for specific SO.

If order reservation from above BOM level is made, than strategy 52 stays.

Maybe there is no SAP soulution for this at all, far as I know. Maybe someone had same need so there is some other way of handling of these kind of needs.

Could you please try, by setting up the , individual and coll. reqmts = 2, (MRP 4 view of the Material Master) for the Dependent components (which will not be linked to the sales Order stock, which is ref. by the Header Material of the BOM) ( as attached below)

This is only my view/opinion, not sure, that will fulfill your Business requirement completely.

I tried, and it is not working.

Verry possible that it is not so simple soulution for this.

Thing is that it is needed since if it is for customer order than it suppose to be packed on one way and if it is for our own production, it should not be packet at all, just trasfered from production line to production line.

The only way to sistematically separate these two according to my opinion is this way, but maybe you are awere of some other solution?
