Hi all,

When I try to explore SAP systems in SAPMMC console, I am getting error that "SNAP-IN failed to initialize". I followed steps according to note-354595.

Steps are:

<b>"Solution

Open a command prompt, switch to you SYSTEM32 directory (for example, C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32) and execute the following command:

REGSVR32 SAPMMC.DLL

If additional DLLs with the name template SAPMMC* (for example, SAPMMCMS.DLL) are found in the SYSTEM32 directory, then register these also, for example, "REGSVR32 SAPMMCMS.DLL"."</b>

When I execute REGSVR32 SAPMMC.DLL again I am getting err msg that <b>"Could not load SAPMMC.DLL".</b> but i am seeing the same dll file in (<b>OS is Xp)</b> c:\windows\system32 dir.

Pls share the solution if anybody encouter this problem before.

thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Kishore.

Dear Kishore,

please first of all download the latest SAPMMC from the

Service Marketplace and check the <a href="https://websmp207.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_FRAME=CONTAINER&_OBJECT=011000358700007543362001">SAP Note 373963</a>

If the error afterwards still occur you can run the

<a href="http://www.dependencywalker.com/">Dependency Walker</a> and try to find out the missing dll's.

Kind Regards

This behavior is caused by the SAPgui removing the librfc(xxx).dll from the C:\Windows\system32 directory.

Solution: Copy it back to the system32 directory from the kernel directory
