Error- There is a problem to connect to repository.JZ006.IOException, java.net.UnknownHostexception:BI4_CMS_DSN

please find the screen shot

I am able to connect to SQL anywhere in ODBC data source with BI4_CMS_DSN and BI4_Audit_DSN.

BI4_CMS_DSN - is your CMS DB, not the repository for data services.
DS repository and CMS DB or BI Platform repository are 2 different things.

p.s.

Also, you should find the Data Services/Data Faderator tag, as this is not really BI Platform topic

Hi Ritesh-

I am able to configure repository in CMC by giving hostname.

Thank you so much!!!

As the error suggest, its not abe to find the database server BI4.

Try,

1. IP address or localhost (if db installed locally) insetad of hostname.

2. If 1 does not work, try using the last option, USE DATASOURCE NAME - YES , you might create DSN and specify it here.

NOTE: In the screenshot , your database name is BI_CMS, if this is your CMS DB for IPS ,please create a new DB for Local DS reporsitroy . Using the same DB might corrupt you CMS DB of IPS system
