Stylessheet

Hello,

I have some problems regarding stylessheets. Tobais Jaufmann told me that the documentaion will be delivered with SPS 8 and send me something. But I do not understand this documentation. In our portal we maintained the motive BI-Web-Reports 2.0 and BI-Web-Reports 3.0. Theses Styles are not used. How and where I can insert the stylesshet in the webtemplate.

Thanks

Frank

Hello Frank!

The componentspecific styles BI Web Report 2.x and 3.x are used only for BEx Web Application 2.x and 3.x.

BEx Web Applications in SAP NetWeaver 2004s are using formats of the Portal. Therefore you have to change the formats of the complex element Table or simple element Button to change the appearance of a Web Item in SAP NetWeaver 2004s.

Yours,

Tobias

Dear all.

I have the same issue as Frank. We replaced the 0ANALYZER with a web template using EXCEL Printing as proposed by Tobias.

When printing from query result in Excel the print style sheet is not called. But if I execute the web template manually with a static query, printing is done correctly.

Same question as Frank: did I miss any parameter settings or part of BI-Web-Reports Installation.

I would very much appreciate your answer because web printing is urgently needed in production.

Thanks and best regards,

Turgay.

Is this for NW04 or NW04s? The default template for NW04s is 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN, not 0ANALYZER. The Export to Excel functionality is a little different in NW04s.

For NW04, you may be getting "icon" images in the 0ANALYZER template and the styles may not look correct. The solution was published for BW 3.1, not NW04, and therefore nested templates aren't rendered correctly. It's a pretty easy change to the ABAP classes. There are a lot of threads related to this in the Business Intelligence -> Business Explorer forum. If this isn't related to NW04s, please post the question in that forum, but check the threads related to this in that forum, as I believe this has been answered there.

Hi Frank,

in general the look and feel Service of the Portal is used. This means you don't add stylesheets in your Web Template. But the setting of the portal is used (user specficic or system wide).

The specific bex styles are not used anymore, as the new Java web runtime uses now for rendering the output the Unified Rendering controls. So you set the styles for the standard tables, links, and so on and not anymore the specific bex classes.
