EEO Exempt

Does anyone know how the I0077 field EEO Exempt is used?

Does it mean the position is an exempt from over-time position (vs non-exempt i.e. hourly) or does it mean if the EEO Exempt box is checked this employees record will not show on EEOC reporting?

No..EEO is used for prohibiting job discrimination at work place ... He is exempted if he is not eligible for all the benefits a regular employee enjoys...for ex. a part time or contract employee is a EEO Exempt.....

Hi Merrilee,

You are correct.. Employees with EXEMPT Indicator od not show up on the EEO report. Pl take a look at the OSS Note # 326744.

Haven't worked with EEO before...do you know why someone would be exempt? Only if it's a non-US job?
