Shared Elements best practices

Hi guys

After the 4.2 upgrade of BO, I want to facilitate the use of Shared elements to my end users. I want to know what are the best practices to implement this in the BO platform..For ex I want to set up a public folder where all the shared elements could be saved ...But will there be any limitations in terms of Universe access for some users? If they want to use those shared elements but don't have access to that particular universe, will it work?

How do I set up the security for the Shared Elements folder in CMC for it to work seamlessly?

Sorry I don't understand what you said... I want to create a new public folder for the shared elements...

Hi,

When you say Shared Elements, are those project folders that you want to assign to the users and assign security on those.
