Hi,

I am looking for list of Fiori Apps with Standard Offline capability with SMP 3.0 and if offline not available, we will use Kapsel to make those offline capable. Can you help with list please?

Regards,

Sanjoy

For integrating SAP Fiori with Mobile Platform, check the SAP-Help : link

There, steps to bring Offline Capabilities to your Fiori Apps are mentioned also : link, as you can use "SAP Fiori Client" and Cordova / Kapsel : link

I didn't find any info on a descriptive list of Offline-enabled Apps. As far as I know, you can check the Details of your Required Apps and there Extensibility (for Offline) via the Fiori Apps Reference Library : link

(PS : A different approach would be the enablement via HCP Mobile Services : link)

  • Please check the document "Offline Enablement for Fiori" : link In the beginning of the document it is stated that SAP Fiori Client has some 'caching' after initial Data retrieval on the Server, but it holds no Business data in the 'cache'. So that would indicate no "out-of-the-box" Offline scenario ... The Document also mentiones how to approach "Client-side Enhancements" as well as "OData Service Enhancements" ...
  • Alternatively, you could always try to enable this via SMP (MobiLink, OData offline) ... There is a (short) YouTube-video on using Offline Store via SMP here : link

Hi Nic,

Thanks for the reply. In online mode we can open Fiori client, but in offline, I found it is throwing error at first screen. How does 'caching' work to open Fiori Client offline? I think we have no option to work Fiori Client offline.

Sanjoy
