Date before 01/01/2000 in Business Objects Cloud

Hi experts,

I have stumbled upon a strange issue in SAP BusinessObjects Cloud. Whenever I try to import the data with "Time" dimension, BusinessObjects Cloud informs me that I have some sort of data issues. The problem appears for a column called "Birthday" and the description of the problem looks like this: "Out of allowed time range". The issue persists only for dates before 01/01/2000. It makes loading customer data (including birthdays) impossible.

Any ideas why is that so? Maybe it's some sort of a limitation of a trial account?

Best regards,
Vlad

I think the issue is related to the Time Dimension, which starts in the Year 2000 and ends in 2035. I would suspect that the data you are attempting to load may need to require Birthday to be a dimension, but not the Time Dimension. This is not limited to the Trial account, but rather the limitation of the pre-defined BOC Time dimension for Models. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the comment. I guess you are right and making "Birthday" a dimension (instead of time) is a good workaround (mostly because bidthdate is unlikely to be used in any time series analysis).
