SAP PI Content to issue Tax in Spain

In Spain a new VAT reporting system “Suministro Inmediato de Información” (SII) will enter into force on the 1st of July 2017 that will impact approximately 62,000 companies. These companies have to submit electronically to the Spanish tax authorities data from all AP and AR invoices within 4 days after an invoice is either issued or booked. In the first 6 months – as a transitional period – the companies will have 4 extra days (8 days in total) to submit these invoices.

Does anybody know if there is already SAP PI Content for that? I have heart about HCS offering by SAP but as we run SAP PI on premise, I am wondering if we cannot have it installed there

    Hi,

Here is the answer we got from SAP to that question:

"We are elaborating possible options to develop integration solution based on on-prem approach in order to avoid HCP. It might take some time, though we put a lot of effort into it."

Clearly, SAP favours HCI, however it can't neglect that a part of its customers will not accept to expose sensitive data on the cloud.

The next question is: when this alternative solution will be released...

    Hi ,

My question is relating to SII . What is the other than HCI offering by SAP. I went through the Wiki and refered notes. I am not able to get conclusions any.

my client is very clearly informed he dose not want to buy any add on, so what is the SAP is providing such customers. If through some light its great help for me.

    Hi all,

I am from Spain and i have this problem in several clients. According to SAP information, if you buy all the package with HCI or PI, you will have the ESR objects provided by SAP and the connection with AIF. However, we are without time and i'm developing this integration in PI, in order to have a second chance if the time is up. If you have a certificate of your client to do the https you can develop a passtrough scenario downloading the wsdls and to map them to a proxy or a file. Later the ABAPers have to take this response and to deal with it. The main purppose is at least to send the "facturas" to AEAT and to save the response.

    Regards.

    • Hi Helmut,

Right now i have two client scenarios:

      - With PI and without AIF

In this case i developed a pass-trough scenario File-SOAP-File (async/sync bridge) for the worse case. From ECC or an external tool will generate the XML files and at least i will have the taxes sent and the file responses to process later in ECC.

Also i'm doing a File -SOAP- Proxy (async/sync bridge), ideally i will prepare a Proxy - SOAP sync scenario as well. All depends about the time that i or ABAPer colleague to do the ABAP programming to interact with SAP standard. In the worse case, i'm thinking to save the response in a Z table and later when all is more clear to do the standard updating. I would like to have the information associated in e-documents, do you have an idea to do this?

I all cases i don't have any mapping involved, only the service interfaces and the wsdl's loaded in PI. All the work is in the Integration Directory.

      - Without PI and with AIF

A colleague mine is applying the AIF notes, i can't say more.

Hope this helps, and please share your thoughts as well.

      Regards.

    Hi Helmut,

Did you find a solution for this issue?

I would like to use PI on premise for this comunication but I can't find an ESR content for this.

    • Hola Sérgio,

We have contracted the company EDICOM to do all the communication with the Spanish Tax Authorities and they have provided us a similar file structure to us. After we have implemented tons of OSS notes in ECC, we enabled the eDocument framework and here the classes also fulfills a very similar structure. The mapping between the content in ECC and the EDICOM structure is more or less only a one-by-one mapping PI - we only skipped the certificate handling part as this has been outsourced to the partner.

      Kind regards
      Helmut
