How can i see the query generated in the background when i do where-used-list in an object in the content folder.

I have seen the sys object_dependencies table. But it doesn't give the same result as where-used-list.

I just what the where used list of an object.

A few years ago before this feature was available, I wrote a SP to get the list of tables used in each model. I do not have the code right now. But, the "_SYS_REPO"."ACTIVE_OBJECTCROSSREF" should give you the details if you figure out how to filter the data correctly.

Give the object name in "TO_OBJECT_NAME" field and you can see the views using it in the "FROM_OBJECT_NAME" column
