Archiving & Deleting the Cost center line items

Hi All,

As we are resetting the Company code,there is a need to upload the data into SAP,we are using obr1 to reset the fi transaction data.

we want to archive the data for the particular cost center (line items).

Dear Raj,

in CO we are using transaction SARA to archive CO-line Items. If you are in a release > 4.6C, please use archiving object CO_ITEM. You can find the documentation via help.sap.com or in note 610201 (and related) if you have access to Service Market Place.

If you just want to delete the data without archiving, you can use transaction OKC3 (in order to prepare for productive start). Please be careful with this! All data you delete there will be lost!!

Hi rajesh,

You can archive the line items of cost center using KA16. Check other archiving transactions for cost center KA 10,KA12, KA18.

Just archiving line items data some times may not be sufficient before deleting cost center.
