Hi,
I was wondering why we need a Reciever determination step since on send step xi automatically find that there are multiple receiver and sends them accordingly to the different system as per reciever agreement.
Is it that the receiver determination is only useful for multicast which is for send and waiting for the message response from those receiver.
Kindly let me know your comments.

Reddy,
THnks for the quick reply. But I guess you got it wrongly .I was talking about the the Receiver determination step in BPM.this give a list of reciever which was configured in Integeration directory.
take the case of file 2 file + mail.
I read a file this send to the recieve step of bpm and on the send step It will automatically identify that there are 2 receivers one for file and one for mail.it goes into both of them .there is no need for the receiver determination step to get the list of receivers and send them was my first point.
second was I thought it might be useful when we are expecting a response from receiver .I just wanted to confirm it.
THnks

Hi,
You can use the RECEIVER DETERMINATION step in the BPM inroder to get a list of receivers of your message into the BPM. There might be some business requirement in some cases wherin you need to know the receiver service before processing some data. You can use the Receiver Determiantion step for this,

Hi,
You need a receiver determincation step for multiple receivers.
If at runtime you need to know the list of receivers for a particular Interface then you can use receiver determination.
If you know where you have to send the data beforehand then you need not use receiver determination. You can put the same in the send step.

Hello chinna,
You need receiver determination step becoz even though in BPM u define what are ur receivers but not what service its handling. Lets say this is the scenario :
File>RFC>FILE
ex: /people/arpit.seth/blog/2005/06/27/rfc-scenario-using-bpm--starter-kit
You dont specify in the receivers of BPM where to write the file and how to write the file?
Please elaborate ur scenario i coudlnt get the second part?
