hierarchy filter default node value

Hello experts,

How could I set the default selected hierarchy node filter?

Its somehow showing a leaf node value at the time of launch. There are more than 1 leaf node value in the cube and I am not sure why a particular value is always shown when report is launched.

I have been testing and trying to get rid of this value. Seems that its topnode value selected but the display is a leaf value. Pls advise. Thanks.

Hi Alphonso,

If you are talking about a hierarchy node variable then I think there was a defalut value set for it during the creation of the variable.

Just remove that your problem will be solved. Excuse me if I misunderstood your question.
