ESS customization issues

Hi All,

I am customizing ESS web dynpro screens. I am facing a couple of issues that I would like to discuss:

1. Whenever I go to the 'Record Working Time' screen in the workset 'Working Time', I see the calendar displayed by default. How do I hide this calendar when I first visit the screen.

2. There is also a table that is displayed on the 'Record Working Time' screen. How do I reduce the width of the columns of the table. I have seen the source code but there is no table in the layout. Is it something related to backend configuration.
