CRM data source enhancement

Iam working on CRM analytics part of BW to generate reports.

In crm after opening an transaction by giving transaction no the details will be displayed. Next to details in tabpage 'DATE' they had added a new custom field called 'NEXT Contact Date.

So my req is to get this 'Next contact date' based on transaction no. in BW reports.

Please anybody help me on how to get this in BW.

If it is by enhancing datasource in CRM guide me which data source has to be enhanced and how to do.

If there is other way inform me.

If you search the forums, there is a previous post on this question, but I will give you the high level answer:

    1. Extend the datasource structure and add the new field.

    2. Create a new implementation of CRM_BWA_MFLOW to retrieve the additional data into the extraction structure. The badi has an example implementation.

    3. Enhance the cubes on the BW side to use this field.

Look at this thread for more details:

    Extract Custom Fields to BW

    Good luck,

      Charmed on ur interest.

My ques is different. It is; i had enhanced(Added) an extra field in date tab of activities in CRM; named 'Next Contact Date'.

But i donot know where the data, for this field is getting populated. If i know the default table where these custom defined date fields are stored accordingly i can enhance the extract structure and get these data in BW.

When u got pl. post the sol.

    Hi Ucas,

The date related fields are stored in SCAPPT.

You can link SCAPPT, SCAPPTSEG and CRMD_LINK tables to

get the values for the date fields.

    Reward points if it helps.
