Access Sap from WAN

Hi

i am new in SAP. can anyone guide me how i can access the application server through WAN.

how can i connect through router with application server.

Hi,

What ever information u have provided is not sufficient. However the desktop from which u want to access,test if it has a link to the server. In cmd use the following command

ping <ip address of the server> -t

if it is ok, then putthe ip address of the server in sapgui proporties "APPLICATION SERVER". This will work.

If from running the cmd u find that there is no connection check the properties of your desktop and check the gateway.

Hi Rai,

if your Company provides VPN Access then you can install SAP GUI at your Desktop, install the VPN Client and use SAP. Please give use more information what connection is provided.
