Is it possible to press sync and it syncs 3x ? Sometimes I have to sync 3 times to see changes. So I would like to press sync icon only one time.

    Hi Marcos Vilela,

    here u can make use of the advantage of repetitive synchronization. U have to put the parameter for eabling the repetitive synchronization and the number of synchronization u want to sync one time in the MobileEngine.config file ..

    When u use this feature , the data transfer is repeated to completely transfer the data requested by the mobile device to the mobile device.

    The parameters for this are ,,

    MobileEngine.Sync.RepetitiveSyncEnabled = true

    MobileEngine.Sync.TimeBetweenRepetitiveSyncs = 1000

    MobileEngine.Sync.MaximumNumberOfRepetitiveSyncs = 3

    just refer this link also..

    i think it is better to create a common device configuration using DEVICE_CONFIG transaction (in the MI server) and assign this configuration by means of role.

    If u have large number of MI users , it is the right way.

    Just add this Created configuration to particular role and add this role also to the MI users. Then what we have to do is just start the role synchronization. So that in the next synchronization that particular configuration u have created will overwrite the existing clients configuration..

    So it is not a good method to edit the config file manually in each client..

    Dear BASIS

    This would call sync repetitively without the user intervention

    The parameters are

    MobileEngine.Sync.RepetitiveSyncEnabled = true

    MobileEngine.Sync.TimeBetweenRepetitiveSyncs = <time between syncs in milliseconds>

    MobileEngine.Sync.MaximumNumberOfRepetitiveSyncs = <number of syncs to be called>

    Oh by the way you can disable you sync password with the following parameter

    MobileEngine.Security.Synchronization.PasswordHandlingOption = local.

    This would never ask you for your password during sync but your login password must be the same as your sync password.
