Mapping LDAP against Windows AD

Hi All,

While configure LDAP against AD there is a restriction as

  • If you configure LDAP against AD, you will be able to map your users but you will not be able to configure AD single sign-on

Just want to know reason behind this. As would be explaining to my client the same.

    Hello Swapnil,

    Both are different

    LDAP - Map User

SSO - You can look at document : https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/NWTech/Microsoft+Windows+X64+Single+Sign-On+with+Active+Directory

For : ABAP = Kerberos and Java = SPNego

    Thank you

AD SSO is a process of Microsoft OS & supported browser. It requires BI to integrate with the AD and that requires the AD plugin (not LDAP)

We have developed a work around in KBA 1965433

    Regards,

    Tim
