BW HR Structural Authorisations

I have followed the How To paper for the BW HR Structrual Auths. Both ODS's have the correct data, the profiles have generated correctly with a user only having access to certain employees. However the auth variable in the query does not seem to pick up the correct employees. Any ideas?

Hi,

spontaneously I can think of the following checkpoints if it is not working correctly:

1. Check ODS

2. Check generated profiles

3. Check in RSSM if for the cube on which the query is running the corresponding authorization object is activated

4. Check if in any role the same characteristic is additionally restricted, i.e. with a *.

As you checked 1 and 2 - try number 3 and 4.

Furthermore, you can create authorization traces to see what was checked during query runtime.

Thanks for your help.

I checked items 3 and 4 and they seem to be correct however the values are still not being passed to the query variable.
