load info cube from other cube

Hello,

I load data from one cube to another. However, when loading, no data is found in the data mart (even though I know that there is data to load).

When I look in the source cube (manage) I see that the data mart status of the request (for the last loaded request) is not checked (all other requests in the cube have green checkers). Why is this?

How can I make the data available for the extraction to the target cube?

Best regards,

Fredrik

Well...its a bit difficult to say why it is not pulling any records..is it that it is pulling 0records and the load goes through...make sure u are not loading with any selection conditions...

Do let us know abt the status of the load...details in the monitor would be helpful..

    Regards,

    Marc.

    Hi Fredrik.

Delta from CUBE works differently from ODS.

From ODS data will be picked up from change log table, So you initialize after data loaded into ODS.

BUT, if you are loading data from CUBE, delta is request based. Means You have to initialize first from source cube to target cube and load the data into source cube, then you will get delta.

If you already loaded data into CUBE(source), delete the request(if available in PSA for reconstuction) and Initialize to target cube without datatransfer and reconstruct the deleted requests, and Push delta from source to target cube, It works.

    Hi Fredrik

you are saying that in source cube, last request is not checked ON for data mart status then it must load to the target cube.I hope you are loading deltas from source cube to target cube till now.

I would suggest you to again try executing the delta infopackage.

If it still does not work then carry out Generate export datasourec again and then execute program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL in SE38, put appropriate parameters and execute. This will ensure that your transfer rules are active. Then again try loading the data.

    Hope this helps

      Hi Fredrik

Inthis case - Processing is overdue this means at that time, system was not having enough resources to execute this data load or maybe there is short dump. Please check in ST22, SM21 for this.

Try re-run of delta and if everything is ok then data load should be successful.

If it still does not work then carry out Generate export datasourec again and then execute program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL in SE38, put appropriate parameters and execute. This will ensure that your transfer rules are active. Then again try loading the data.

Please let me know what happens in re-run.

      Regards
