Hello all BWers,
I load a cube from an export data source (based on another cube: 0PCA_C03).
I have set up a process chain that loads first 0PCA_C03 and then ZPCA_C10.
The last load (from export data source) has begun to fail and I don't know the reason for this. When I check the load in the monitor I often notice that "request is still running" and "processing is overdue".
When I delete the erroneus request from the cube and reload the delta, it works fine...
But why does the load fail in the process chain, in the first place. Is the data in the export data source not immediately available for export into a data target, or?
I have noticed that I get entries in the SM12-lock entries table on the data source in question...
Please help!
Best regards,
Fredrik

Take a look in st22 (short dumps). Maybe there you could find a detailed information about what is happening.

In monitor check if all packages are processed correctly. Because if load appears as "still running" and after that "processing is overdue", it can be that same packages don´t inform about their correct termination.
This can be because of many reason, one of them can be a short dump in BW (for example error in roll back segment), then goto st22 and look for short dumps related to your load to get much information about it.
If any package has not finished correctly maybe it was in sm58 (transactional RFC) from where luw can be executed manually.
