Table Control ViewState Strange Behaviour

Hi All.

I'm using the PDK 2.0 table control in VS 2003 and I have a problem:

I fill the table with DataBind() Method and when I hit a Clic Button the page loads again but I can't read the previous content I already enable ViewState in Table and in Page Level but every time I refresh the page, I loss the table data.

Any advice is welcome.

Thanks in Advance

    Hi Elias,

If u want to keep the data everytime when u clicks the button u need to keep the old data in session and u need to bind the table using table_itemcreated procedure every time when u clicks the button.

I didn't mention that I had done what you said: Putting the data set in a session

The problem in my case was that the Table Control had a colum filled with Check Boxes when I asigned an ID to the Check Control and then submit again the Form I was loosing the Data. Solution: Don't put an ID to the control if it's inside a Data Bounded Table Control
