How to improve the performance of Collective Availability Check.

Dear PP expert.

I found the performance problem for Collective Availability Check. I have the performance issue with the collective availability check executed with the standard T-Code COMAC. I scheduled it at plant level in back ground for Planned Order only. It took around 25 hrs.(91000 seconds) to complete.

Another question.

From my configuration for material availability check (OVZ9) in production order is set no material availability check. And in T-code: COMAC, I list scope the data for only planned order. From my understanding, material availability check should consider only dependent requirement from planned order only (only records of dependent requirement in Table: RESB, not include order reservation from production order).

For all PP expert . Please help me on this case. How to improve the performance. and kindly explain as i mentioned above.

Thank you.

Hello

Firstly, you should try to reduce the table of table RESB with an archiving of old orders and updating the table statistics.

Another option is to activate the ATP server to improve the performance. See the note below for details:

99999 - ATP server: Installation and sizing
