Costing error: MR21 does not work after CKR1

Hi everybody,

I have an issue in our costing.

During our costing procedure, we created planned prices for our raw materials, in order to re-cost the finished goods. There has been no issue in the release of the costing for finished goods, which have used the correct planned prices of raw materials.

Yesterday (last day of the month), we transferred all the planned prices of raw materials to the future prices.

However, during the release during the night, the price for some raw materials were not updated by using the future price release function.

This was apparently related to the fact that a costing existed for those materials which was not deleted (during the different costing runs, a run for some raw materials was created for a check, but was not marked nor released).

Therefore, based on the information found on this forum, we deleted the costing run in question (using t-CK44), and cleared the future standard cost estimate for one material (using t-CKR1). However, when using MR21 in order to update the costing for this material, I still receive an error message saying: "A current or future standard price exists for material xxxxx". In total, we have 200 items in this situation.

I am not sure how to resolve the issue, and am not an expert in SAP.

Could you please help me solving this issue ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

Check whether the cost estimation exist for the material and you can delete it CKR1 by selecting the option current/future.

In Customizing for Materials Management or invoice verification, control error message M8 155 as an information message. You can then change the price.
