For the J2EE installation in local PC

Hi, All

I had intalled JAVA System (NW2004)in the server . Now i wish to install J2EE engine in my local PC JUST for test on it. I have 2 questions:

1. Where i can find the installing file? Do i do the same job as i had done in the server (use the SAP INST ,but just install JAVA System )?

2. Do i need install the DBMS in my local PC ?

Hi Guixin,

1. Yes... install it using the same files but just install the Java engine.

2. I don't think you need the DBMS just for the Java Engine.
