Displaying/grouping key figures

Hi All,

I have a reporting requirement as follows:

There are 14 key figures and 5 forumulas that need to be displayed for Current Actual MTD, Current Plan MTD, Prior Actual MTD, Current Actual YTD, Current Plan YTD and Prior YTD.

You can see this is a ton of calculations/key figures. The current reporting format is:

MTD YTD

Act -06 Plan -06 Act -05 Act -06....

Volume 45544 6565 565656 56565

Sales 54544 4545 45454 4545

....

....

....

The volume and sales are the actual key figures.

Any ideas on how to keep the above format in BW without writing code or modifications?

Hi Mark,

You can try by creating a structure for the char values and placing this on top of the KF structure in your query definition.

The char structure will have different selections with settings for Version (Actual, Plan) and Period (restrictied by variables)
