LMDB: Extract list of logical components in spreadsheet

In LMDB of Solution Manager 7.1, I want to get an overview of all existing logical components in the system and to extract a spreadheet from that. Is there a way to do this?

Hello,

SMUD doesn't exist in 7.1.

If you are looking only for Logical componants name, you can find the information in the view V_LOGCOMP in SE16.

If you are trying to have the SID per logical componants, SAP doesn't provided a easy way to extract this information.
(Z_LOG : DEV QUA PRD)

You have to extract for each SID, the logical componant and use a macro in Excel to merge that:
DEV Z_LOG
QUA Z_LOG
PRD Z_LOG

is becoming :

Z_LOG DEV QUA PRD

( see an exemple here : https://forum.excel-pratique.com/excel/macro-qui-transpose-et-regroupe-ligne-vers-colonne-t27550.htm...

Hi

You can list all of them using below path (no export functionality there though):

Transaction SOLMAN_WORKCENTER - SAP Solution Manager Administration - Landscape - Logical Components

From there you can jump to "maintenance" of such a logical component which goes to LMDB (depending on your SolMan 7.1 version).

Out of curiosity, why do you want to report on this? Logical component concept changes in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 in a way that you normally would not need that many logical components anymore but that you can re-use existing logical components once you're managed SAP systems are assigned to a logical component group. So that should get rid of the double or triple (or whatever number of logical components you have that include the same system).

Best regards

Tom
