Able to trashcan PO line item after GR/IR complete

We have a configuration that does not allow PO line item deletion if GR/IR is complete. This is true weather GR/IR matches the original PO or not. Bottom line, not supposed to be able to trashcan PO line item if any entry made in GR/IR.

But, one of my users was able to,...... that's the problem.

This particular PO had an item category of S - Third Party,...... I wonder if that would make a difference.

Without knowing details from your "configuration" (which is probably own coding) nobody can really help you.

The change log should tell you who deleted it and you can just take the telephone and ask the user how he did it.

The purchase order has to be deleted first, only then the sales order can be rejected.

Usually there is an error message in the sales order that prevents the rejection of a sales order if the PO is already processed, otherwise your vendor would deliver to your customer and you would never know and bill the customer.

I hope your code is smart enough to allow deletion for archiving purposes otherwise you are just excluding all your third-party orders from being archived, as the deletion indicator at item level is a mandatory precondition of data archiving.

So if this deletion indicator came not from a preprocessing archiving run then your code is probably not sufficient and does not cover all situations.
